Internet poker games
Internet poker games with their many variations are a favourite among online gamblers. The threeinternet poker variations that are projected to be tricky are, in fact, very simple! Here are rules for Red Dog Poker, Pai Gow Poker and the more common 3 Card Poker.
Internet Poker Games: Red Dog Poker Rules
Red Dog Poker is a game of chance which has lost its popularity in the recent years among gamblers, but is still played in many online casinos. The game is very simple and involves little strategy.
The game is played with one to eight decks using the standard fifty-two card deck. The cards are ranked similar to an aces high poker ranking.
Players are dealt two face-up cards. If the cards are consecutive (6, 7 or 2,3 or K, A), the player’s wager is returned to him. Such a hand is called a push.
If the player is dealt two cards of the same value, he is dealt a third card.
If the third card is of the same value, then the player wins with a payout of 11:1. If the value of the third card is different, the player loses.
In case the cards dealt have a numerical difference of more than one, the player is dealt another card. He can choose to raise the wager by double before being dealt the third card. A spread is announced which determines the payout.
If the value of third card is in between that of the first and the second card, then the player is paid according to the spread. Otherwise, he loses.
Internet Poker Games: Pai Gow Poker Rules
Pai Gow Poker is the American form of a Chinese game Pai Gow. It is played with the standard poker hand rankings with a fifty two card deck along with an extra joker. The game is played by six players and a dealer, and each player is playing against the banker.
The players are dealt seven cards from which they have to make a five-card poker hand and a two-card poker hand.
The five card hand (also called the “behind”, the “bottom” and the “big”) should be ranked higher than the two-card hand (also called “in front”, “on top”, “minor hand” and “small hand”).
Two card hands can either be a pair or a high card hand. The five card hands are determined according to regular poker hand rankings. The joker is a bug.
The player’s both hands have to beat the banker’s both hands. If only one of his hand beats the banker’s hands, then the player pushes. Otherwise, he loses! It’s that simple!
Internet Poker Games: 3 Card Poker Rules
Another neglected poker game is 3 card poker. Three card poker is a combination of Pair Plus and Ante and Play games.
The player is dealt three cards, and he wins money depending on his hand.
The dealer’s hand is immaterial here. A straight flush pays 40 to 1 and a pair pays 1 to 1.
Pair is the minimum hand needed to win here.
In Ante and Play, the player makes an ante.
The dealer has to have a queen high to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, then the player wins the ante.
If the dealer qualifies, and the player beats the dealer, he wins 1 to 1.
If the dealer beats the player, the player loses his ante.
If there is a tie instead, the player pushes.
This is a simple game, and like all other internet poker games can be played in all of our recommended internet casinos with a little practice.
